Description:

In 1877 S. W. Williston first discovered the fossils of Diplodocus. Diplodocus lived in what is now north America at late Jurassic Period. Diplodocus might be the most famous dinosours, with its long neck and tail. This dinosaur was the longest dinosaur.

Diplodocus's nostrils were at the top of its head and it had peg-like teeth. All legs had elephant-like, five-toed feet. For protection, they had a thumb claw on each foot. Diplodocus had a row of spines running down its back.
